One-Week Elevated ADV Experience – Rising 10th Graders
Our Leader in Training (LIT) Adventure Program is designed for rising 10th graders ready to take the next step at Cosby. This program blends leadership development, community building, and all the adventure ADV is known for – creating a week that’s fun, meaningful, and unforgettable.

What Makes LIT Adventure Special?
Unlike a typical camp session, this program prepares teens for leadership at camp and beyond.
- Community Vibes – Meals, sign-ups, and hangouts at ADV – Teen Village
- Priority Activity Sign-Ups – LITs are first to sign-up for activities at ADV
- Leadership Skills – Develop confidence, teamwork, and responsibility through the Cosby Leadership Experience
- Exclusive Adventures – Canoe lunches, service projects, team challenges, and so much more
- Community Service – Earn 40-hours of Community Service and a letter of recommendation from the LIT Directors
What to Expect
- Half Leadership, Half Adventure – Teens split their time between leadership workshops and favorite camp activities
- Small Group Experience – Focused mentoring and hands-on opportunities
- Practical Skills – Teens gain life skills that prepare them for future employment, volunteer opportunities, and possibly becoming a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) or staff member
No Teen Application required, all rising 10th graders are eligible to register for the program
The LIT Adventure Program is more than camp – it’s a chance to grow, lead, and discover who you’re becoming.

Choose the week that works best for your family. All sessions offer the same program with unique Cosby Leadership Experience activities. Note: If your camper is registered for back-to-back LIT Adventure sessions (Sessions 1&2 OR 5&6), Weekend Stayover is FREE!
